Our customers share what the Patronage program means to them.

“It’s a reminder that Farm Credit Mid-America puts its customers first.” - Brett Glick, Farm Credit Mid-America customer

Being a customer-owned cooperative means we can offer more than just lending. One unique benefit for our customer-owners is our Patronage program.

This extra capital can help our customers buy new equipment, pay down debt, add jobs to their operations and more.

For us, it’s about giving back a portion of what we earn to those who deserve it most - our customer-owners. It’s an important way for us to invest in securing the future of rural communities and agriculture.

Since 2016, we have distributed more than $1.25 billion in patronage to our customer-owners. Watch the full video to hear directly from our customer-owners about what this means for their operations.

Patronage is an annual decision made by the board of directors to return earnings to eligible customers. For more information about patronage or patronage eligibility, visit our Patronage program page
