Since 1988, Armstrong and his wife, Amy, have been farming together. For over 25 years, they alongside their two children, raise corn, soybeans and wheat, all no-till. On a portion of their acres, they grow identity preserved crops. Armstrong is a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, Ohio Soybean Association, Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers, Ohio Cattlemen’s Association and Top Farmers of Ohio. He previously held various board positions with Trustee Green Township Clark County, Hustead Service Area Fire & EMS Joint Board, Springfield Beckley Airport Joint Economic Development District, Clark County Farm Bureau, World Initiative for Soy in Human Health, Ohio Soybean Council, Clark County Developmental Disabilities and Ohio Soybean Association. Allen is a member of the Human Resources Committee.
