Chief Lending Officer Rural 1st
Art serves as Chief Lending Officer for Rural 1st, the rural consumer lending division of Farm Credit Mid-America. A member of the Executive Committee, he oversees sales, operations and the partner channel.
Art began his Farm Credit career in 2000 as a Loan Officer and has held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility in agricultural and consumer lending. Rural 1st has grown exponentially under his leadership.
Art is an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan and graduate, holding a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, master’s degree in Agricultural Economics and an Executive MBA. When he is not on his farm in Sevierville, Tennessee, he can be found in Louisville, KY where he splits his time for work between his native Tennessee and the Bluegrass State.
