Farm Credit Mid-America recognized for customer marketing excellence

National Agri-Marketing Association honors Association’s 2017 Insights Conference

// Company News

Farm Credit Mid-America (FCMA) received a 2019 Best of NAMA award from the National Agri-Marketing Association. The first-place award in the customer events category recognized the Association’s 2017 Insights Conference, “Business in the Age of Change,” held in November 2017 in Nashville.

“We are beyond thrilled to receive this recognition from the National Agri-Marketing Association,” said Tina Davis, vice president of Marketing for Farm Credit Mid-America. “It’s especially gratifying the recognition stems from an event for customers, where we provided information, resources and tools to help strengthen their farms and agriculture businesses.”

NAMA, a leading association for agri-marketing and agribusiness professionals, sponsors the competition to celebrate and recognize the best work in agriculture communications for the previous year. The awards celebration took place Jan. 24, in Rockford, Ill.

The Insights Conference was a resource for FCMA customers, providing information about managing their business to success during a time of great change, reflecting changes in agriculture, the economy, technology and workforce.

Speakers included the Association’s President and CEO Bill Johnson; Rich Karlgaard, publisher, editor-at-large and global futurist, Forbes; Jack Uldrich, global futurist; Jonah Kolb, vice president, Moore & Warner Ag Group; Todd Buchholz, former White House Director of Economic Policy; Amy Wilkinson, entrepreneurial speaker, author, lecturer at Stanford; and USN Cdr. Kirk Lippold, former commanding officer of the USS Cole when it was attacked in 2000 by terrorists.
